Match Report

This was very much a young Fulham side rather than the reserves.

The programme itself is the "home made" type with a colour cover and two folded and printed sheets of A4 paper inside making eight pages in total. I arrived at the ground 45 minues early only to be told that their "printers had let them down" and the 12 copies I had reserved earlier in the day didn't exist. I managed to come away with one copy thanks to Terry Parmenter the club secretary.

I have been told that I might be able to pick up a few more copies in a week or so, if anyone is interested in on please email me (Nick) on info@fulhamprogrammes.co.uk and I will try and get one for you.

It was a good evening, the Guiness was refreshingly cold and it was great to see David Lloyd and FFC cult hero Cliffie down the amoungst others.

Young Fulham side defeat The A's
(Match Report From www.bansteadathletic.co.uk)

It was a good run out for both teams last night with the young Fulham XI coming out on top 3-0. Left winger Jordan Wilson ghosted in from the left hand side after 25 mins and collected a through ball. He calmly slotted past the Banstead keeper to make it 1-0.

Left back Joe Anderson carried the ball forward, played a one two with a colleague before sending a weak shot that crept under the keeper after 66 mins and just over a minute later a free kick from the right was whipped in and Aaron Enrico Do Santos was allowed a free header which was powered past the keeper.

Fitness was obviously the main key out there and the gulf of class was evident due to Fulham having a lot more time on the ball and always having a couple of options to pass to. Banstead had a few chances but lacked the final punch up front, being snuffed out by a well organised Fulham defence. Michael Corbett headed over a free kick on 10 mins and a Kev Terry half volley from 15 yards in to the keeper's arms on 35 mins were our main chances.
